Prior to the establishment of Diempal Productions, David Michael Friend art directed the two seasons of Sesame Street's Abby's Flying Fairy School, one of the first translations of the television show's iconic puppets to CGI. Working with a team of 3D artists at SpeakeasyFX, he took the imaginative charcter designs of Peter de Sève and developed them into the loveable characters for the segment.
